I agree. It is possible that both stories are true—Trump’s and his. Possible that Trump turned him down and then the Murdochs leaned on him for other reasons, and he went overboard satisfying them because he was resentful of Trump. Whatever the real full story he does not come out well.
He comes across something like Omarosa or Christie, not much sense of the bigger picture and focused only on self.
A friend rather than Smith. That answer would be very difficult. He has so many, you know. Another unanswered question to add to the pile.
This is the state of American journalism. It’s primary purpose these days is to advance and settle political scores.

Notice there has been NOT A PEEP out of Fox news regarding this particular tweet by the President.

Set me to wondering what poor Shep may have done ...... maybe he backed up to the wrong attractive guy at the bar?
It was as my old English teacher would have said, “Poor sentence structure.”
The writer meant that Nap was asking for a pardon for a mutual ‘friend’ of his and Shemp’s, I believe.”
Also, a POTUS can pardon only FEDERAL CRIMES, not state or local, so whatever this person did, it had to be a FEDERAL CASE...................
