Trump: ‘We’re Losing Our Ass Defending’ Saudi Arabia

President Donald Trump during a Saturday rally in Wisconsin described a phone call with the leader of Saudi Arabia in which he demanded more money from the oil-rich nation.

“Look, Saudi Arabia, very rich country, we defend them, we subsidize Saudi Arabia. They have nothing but cash, right? We subsidize them. And they buy a lot from us, $450 billion they bought,” Trump began. “You know, You had people wanting to cut off Saudi Arabia. They bought $450 billion. I don’t want to lose ‘em! But the military, we subsidize Saudi Arabia!”

“I called the King,” he continued. “I like the King. I said ‘King, we’re losing our ass defending you, King, and you have a lot of money.’ That’s true. And he said ‘but why would you be calling me, nobody has ever made such a call before.’ I said that’s because they were stupid! So we’re working a deal with Saudi Arabia. So many places. So many places. I tell you what, honestly, it’s easier than collecting $113.57 from a tenant in a bad location in New York City. And it’s safer too.”

Didn’t he just veto a bill that would have gotten us out of Saudi Arabia’s war in Yemen?

Saudi Arabia just needs to threaten to move all its dollars and Oil sales to Euros, Rubles or Yuan, and Fed.gov, our DC and Wall Street elites will immediately fall back in line, offering your sons and daughters to fight all their enemies throughout the mideast.

In roughly 26 months, due to Trump’s FRACKING policy, we’ll be oil-independent [we’re already energy-independent, overall, but still are a small net-importer of oil]. At that point, we can tell the Saudis where to shove their oil.

Don’t tell the truth.

We’re in herd mentality where everything bad (and the truth) is to be ignored.

Pretty soon fracking will have oil prices at 50 cents a gallon

don’t you see the prices dropping at the pump.

Mine dropped from 2.50 to 3.00 in the last 6 weeks.

U.S. to end all waivers on imports of Iranian oil, crude price jumps

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States on Monday demanded that buyers of Iranian oil stop purchases by May 1 or face sanctions, a move to choke off Tehran’s oil revenues which sent crude prices to six-month highs on fears of a potential supply crunch.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-iran-oil/u-s-to-announce-end-to-sanctions-waivers-for-iran-oil-imports-source-idUSKCN1RX0R1

Trump is squeezing Iran AND those that are still buying Iran’s Oil.

The Saudis and OPEC will ramp up production to replace Iran’s oil supply.

Iran will be forced into making only a few really bad decisions.

1. Block the The Strait of Hormuz which would cut off other oil suppliers from reaching China, India Japan and others. These would have been Iran’s customers before Trump ended the Waivers.

2. Iran Sucks it up and tries to export their oil through Turkey, Pakistan or Turkmenistan. This can’t even come close to meeting their current sales.

3. Iran allows for Trump to destroy 80% of their economies cash inflows and the Mullahs attempt to hold power much like Maduro is trying to do.

Trump has asked/told the Saudis to help in replacing Iran’s oil and the Saudis will be happy to do so.

Ours dropped up to around $3.55/gal. Probably soon to be $3.55/liter.

Saudi Arabia is a wealthy Middle-Eastern nation with a lot of influence in the region. It’s policies are mostly Western friendly, and even Israel friendly.

It is a moderating force in the Arab community and has been for decades helping to keep prices low in OPEC, and supplies stable.

Even at times when the Arab states thought it would be a great idea to gouge us for oil, Saudi Arabia cautioned moderation.

Folks, Saudi Arabia is helpful in ways. It would not be productive to have it side up with Russia or China.

Would that help moderate Saudi Arabia or make things exponentially worse?

I don’t see Russia or China urging Saudi Arabia to treat us or our allies better?

So goes Saudi Arabia, so goes the United Emerate states.

Would some of you really like to see a polar switch in that region?

Global dynamics are not always black and white. There is gray area, and we have to continue to coordinate with the gray, to avoid the black.

Thank goodness he did. Iran is the bully in the ME, and we need to thwart them. They’ve killed many Americans since 79

Not going to happen.

They have been trying/threatening this for well over 10 years.

Not just the Saudis but Iran as well.

Oil is traded in US Dollars.

No matter what they try to do, it will be always compared/settled in US Dollars.

Do you think Iran is so heavily invested in Yemen, to the degree that their proxies losing the war will "thwart" them? They cause trouble and mischief wherever they can, whichever way Yemen goes, Iran will be causing trouble somewhere else tomorrow.

Either way, that's not consistent with being upset with losing our ass for Saudi, as Trump is claiming to be.

Saudi Arabia is helpful in many ways, such as when it helped the WTC hijackers get into the country. They never have paid the price for that.

Learning what? That we're for sale to the highest bidder? That it's all about the Benjamins?
