More Sun spots = more heat in the solar system. Less Sun spots = cooling. The Sun is currently headed into sun spot minimum within its approximate 11 year cycle. I'm always befuddled that no one discusses this proven fact.
This is not like some guy on a white board trying to figure out Dark Matter. Sun spot activity is observable. It has been for decades.
Question for the AGW types: What exactly caused the Earth to warm up from the mini-ice age back around the Dark ages? It was long before the industrial revolution.

There is nothing crazy or unseasonable about the weather. The media like playing up spring snowstorms and things like that for ratings. But they have zero knowledge of weather history and how often those events have happened in the past. There was nothing unusual about the floods either other than we don't see them every year, and the dikes have made them worse.

It is discussed. There is no corresponding 11 year temperature cycle. Also when there are lots of spots the sun is dimmed and there is less heat sent out. That effect is temporary as the spots quickly rotate out of direct facing view. There are much more complicated weather effects from low solar than high solar activity. One effect is more blocking. That's neither cooling or warming, but can amplify cooling in the right circumstances.

The number of major earthquakes and volcanic eruptions varies from year to year, decade to decade, century to century and probably almost any time frame studied. This is likely related to chance and a number of other factors that are not fully understood. “Crazy weather patterns” likely happen for the same types of reasons. Whether either type of activity is increasing depends largely on the time frame included in the study.
I am not sure that there is any real relationship to the “3600 signature cycle” that you have referred to in posts over the last year or so. I managed to find a few blogs and some of your other posts that mention this using an internet search, but no authoritative references or even information about who Velikovsky actually is. Do you have links that you can share?
