I don't think Joe Biden is stupid. He is pretty bright. You simply cannot attain and hold a Senate seat without some intelligence.
The question is against what standard? He is much brighter than average. So are Freepers.
But Biden is simply not at the stratospheric intelligence level we expect of Presidential material, such as Ronald Reagan, Donald Trump, or on the other side, Bill Clinton and Lyndon Johnson.
High intelligence is not the same as good. Many highly intelligent people have been instrumental in great evil. Stalin and Hitler were highly intelligent.
But Biden just does not make the grade to anywhere near that level.

This author is deluding himself if he thought Joe would do anything but take any and all roads to win. There is no road too low for Joe.
When wondering just how low Joe will go or just how far he will stretch the true in his campaign, just remember his comment to a mostly Black crowd in Danville, Virginia back in 2012 (when running against Romney of all people), "They're going to put y'all back in chains."
That's just a hint at how low Biden will go.
If the Democrats had the sense to run someone in the mold of “Scoop” Jackson or Sam Nunn, they might win in 2020.
Thankfully, they are firmly entrenched in the “Latest Looney Leftist” camp! (motto - “LLL - we’ve moved on from our KKK history!”)

Calling Trump a Nazi was all he has. It was pretty obvious he was going to do that when he announced he was going to announce in C’Ville. But he can’t run on his record and he certainly can’t run on who he is. So Trump is a Nazi is how they want to play this. They might want to be a little careful with this because in a country that is currently undergoing a coup and has 100,000 illegals a month flooding across the border people may actually vote for a Nazi.

He is an elderly white male, and the Democrat Party has declared war on white people. He has no choice but to do something like he did.
He is appealing to the base. They are the primary voters. The mushy middle only votes in the general.
He wants to run against Trump, but he has to get past 19 angry Democrats first.
Biden didn’t take Trump’s words out of context, rather, he flat out lied and bore false witness.
