I’d wager they cuckold both him and Bernie this time around because ain’t no way the newer, more radical, Left wants an old White guy as their choice.
Sanders seems to have a brutal bunch of staffers this go around who will not pull punches. I expect his team will go after Biden, Harris, and Buttigieg.
Likewise, both Harris and Buttigieg have to go after Biden.
What this means is Biden will be getting it from at least three barrels.
Biden does not need to do anything right now. He needs the other candidates to beat each other up until a clear #2 emerges.
I expect Biden to take the high road, but he may choose to attack Sanders, which he could use as a proxy to attack Warren also.
It is possible Warren and O’Rourke will also attack Biden, but it would make more sense for them to sit back and hope a Biden-Sanders fight breaks out.
Regardless, expect the Democrats in 2020 to be a similar mud-fest as the Republicans were in 2016.
