Leonard Pitts called for Trump’s impeachment based on the damning Mueller report.
They are not going to give up.
The first time I heard of that concept was on Rush Limbaugh's show about ten years ago.
I wrote the RNC and told them they wouldn’t get one more dime from me until the border was secure. I never heard from them again.
As usual, Kurt nails it. Aside from being a genuine conservative American patriot, the best thing about Trump is he’s a fighter. He hits back when you take a poke at him.
This drives the Leftists and their mouthpieces the MSM - and the Fredocons completely insane. They thought they could dish it out forever but never have to take it in return. Finding out otherwise has led to a delicious 2 year long meltdown - and counting.

Have read a number of your posts and they are sharp.
I thought the dems would be afraid of backlash.

There are a number of issues that make impeachment a certainty.
First, the Dems live in a bubble. They think Walter Cronkite and David Brinkley still tell most people what to think.
Mre important, though, is the encouragement they are getting from Senate Republicans. Sotto vocce, yes, but it’s very real.
Third is, as you point out, their base.
And, yes, I’ve been here since 1998. I was all-out for Clinton’s impeachment. Events have proven me wrong, though - it helped him, and it hurt us long term.
Hopefully what they are about to do will have the same effect - except that in 1998, there were huge majorities in the Senate with girlfriends of their own who thought it was a joke, now, at least 60% of them want Trump gone.
Interesting times.

My beef with Trump is he is moving way too slow. Arrests should have been right away. We would have avoided the investigation of him.
Now as to those that do not want him in office at all because they want the corruption to continue they will always find something to complain about.
They do what they always do - double down on losing and howl louder and sound even more insane.
