LOL
I can imagine they’re not too happy.
[managing the states wild wolf population]
Well, I’d say shooting some of them might be the only way to handle it.
Unless they’d rather tranquilize them and give them to children’s hospitals. That would be an idea worthy of Nancy Pelosi.
Lars Larson is all over this. Wolves can’t be hunted in Oregon, but it probably won’t be long.
I’ve never understood the sheer level of cognitive dissonance from the so-called “progressives” in that they absolutely and utterly *REFUSE* to believe that hunters and anglers might actually know a thing or two about conservation, and are “la la la I can’t hear you!!!” if you point out to them that several high profile conservation groups such as Ducks Unlimited were actually started by hunters. :P
Yet another demonstration of liberals’ REAL attitude about democracy; No way they’ll allow all constituent groups to be represented in government...
Yep, Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and others not only raise big bucks for conservation but volunteer labor to restore many acres of habitat for wildlife.
To say nothing of the 11% excise tax that hunters asked for and got, via the Pittman -Robertson Act. The best thing for hunting is plentiful game, and hunters pony up plenty of money to that end.
Typical liberals that believe people and organizations regulated by a government department should have no representation or say on said department.
Amen to that.
Sarah Palin would of been a good choice also.
If you would like more information about what's happening in Oregon, please FReepmail me.
Notice how the environmental nazis have re-branded themselves conservationists.
Thanks, Salvation! :^)
Not somebody who is actually informed on the subject?!?!?!
It’s like putting Donald Trump Junior on the election reform commission...Projection much, Steve Pedo, er I mean Pedery.
LOL
I have no wolf in this fight...
This fact may explain the existence in Oregon of big elk herds from Canada: the elk may have figured out that the folks seem a little friendlier. They are all over the highway and taking dips in the Pacific and are totally fearless of the Oregonians.
Once saw a huge old deer sitting by the highway during hunting season. I guess he figured out long ago that he couldn’t be shot where he was. Maybe this is common but I was amused.
But Oregon does have an elk hunting season. Maybe they just come down for the warmer weather.
