NG not Military, Military went to Sig Sauer 2 yrs ago. Might explain the Unmarked vehicles too. NG gets left overs.
About 60% of our armed forces are National Guard both Army and Air. They are held to the same standards and are trained similarly. You insult a great many with your disparagement of “NG, not military”. Our ArNG and ANG get some old equipment, but are also issued the latest equipment. I speak from my 30+ years in the Air National Guard. You are misinformed.
