Just like the situation with the confederate monuments, there will be foolish Republicans that will go along with this for this or that reason without realizing that they are helping the Left with its cultural revolution.

You realize there was almost regular contact with Northern European, African, Asian, and Polynesian contact with North America in the centuries prior to Columbus.
I love Italians. I married one. But, I never really understood the need for him to get a holiday. He never set foot on North America.
If we must have a holiday in October, call it harvest festival or football weekend.
The native Americans migrated here from the Mongolian regions, so they don’t count as indigenous.
