Yes, they are going to do it.

So much for Nan's plan not to go into the 2020 election with no accomplishments other than impeachment.

Keep your eye on Romney. If he can wrangle 19 GOP votes to convict its over.

They had better watch what they wish for. They are not going to like the results when the American people themselves take them on.

19 Apr: Washington Examiner: Devin Nunes: ‘Hidden’ passage in Mueller report shows scope memo tainted by Trump dossier
House Intelligence Committee ranking member Devin Nunes, R-Calif., revealed where in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report he says “Clinton dirt” tainted the Russia investigation...

“When you look at what happened today, remember we talked a lot about the scope memo. What were the directions given to the special counsel? Well, we now know hidden on page 11, very thinly, still veiled, but we now know they used the Steele dossier, the Clinton dirt, the Clinton-paid-for dirt as part of the memo for the special counsel that directed the special counsel what to do,” Nunes told host Sean Hannity...

The classified scope memorandum was issued by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in August 2017, months after he appointed Mueller to lead the Russia investigation without citing a crime...

“That is the only thing of relevance that was in today’s 450-page report,” he emphasized...

the Mueller remit was based on a lie. it was illegitimate. by continuing under this scope memo, the investigation affected the outcome of the mid-term elections.

time for the real investigation.

The others, and McConnell particularly, are smart enough to understand if they removed Trump they would all go down in their next elections. Both Democrats and Republicans would vote against them.

Their only strategy doing this is hoping it will somehow stop or delay the investigations and conspiracy these traitors did against Trump.

Hey, at least they aren’t busy governing. I’ll take it. Thanks Mr. President for keeping a horrid pack of rabid progressive leftists out of my life by letting them into yours.

Seems like the ludicrous prospect of impeachment is proposed as some sort of projected defense against their own prosecution.

don’t know what else is in this article because it’s behind a paywall, but the scrutiny must be of the use of the phony Dem-paid-for dossier by Mueller and for the FISA warrants, etc. it’s all been clear for far longer than the “months” these NYT hacks would like their readers to believe:

19 Apr: NYT: Mueller Report Likely to Renew Scrutiny of Steele Dossier
By Scott Shane, Adam Goldman and Matthew Rosenberg
But the release on Thursday of the report by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, underscored what had grown clearer for months — that while many Trump aides had welcomed contacts with the Russians, some of the most sensational claims in the dossier appeared to be false, and others were impossible to prove. Mr. Mueller’s report contained over a dozen passing references to the document’s claims but no overall assessment of why so much did not check out...

Journalism is dead. Any claim of it being unbiased and truthful is totally laughable now.

These leftists have ruined what was once an honorable and respected profession.

I concur, and add that it will probably start late summer, with the goal of impeachment during the middle of the primaries.

Article states.....”The word impeachment was mentioned 309 times during coverage of the Mueller report on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC. And worse, this was only during a 24 hour period.”......

“There are laws to protect the freedom of the press’s speech, but none that are worth anything to protect the people from the press”......Mark Twain

“The media want to maintain their intimate relation to state power. ‘They want’ to get leaks, ‘they want’ to get invited to the press conferences. ‘They want’ to rub shoulders with the Secretary of State, all that kind of business. ....To do that, you’ve got to play the game, and playing the game means telling their lies, serving as their disinformation apparatus.”
