I will be doing plenty in the VERY NEAR FUTURE. When you see it in the news, you will know it’s me.
The typical constitutional sheriff is highly pro-active. He will move swiftly to eradicate or neutralize any threats toward his constituents.
I live in two different counties, both with constitutional sheriffs.
One of my sheriffs has a team to monitor a radical mooslim community out in the countryside. If they break out and try any crap, they will be neutralized until they are no longer threats.
My other sheriff has a 2,000 man armed deputy auxiliary in place for “emergencies.” That auxiliary is mainly used for search and rescue when needed. He’s removed two police chiefs who were harassing citizens for no reason. Don’t ask how he did it; I wasn’t there. But I heard he was very persuasive.
Constitutional sheriffs are our 21st century Committees of Safety established by the Founders in the 18th century.

Which is why you need a pro-2nd amendment, constitutional sheriff in your county. That sheriff has the legal and armed muscle to take care of rogue cops, appointed, weenie police chiefs and left-wing mayors. If you don’t have one, go elect one.

I live in the Freak State of Maryland. Our government’s idea of law and order was best articulated by Baltimore’s mayor who said she intentionally “gave those who wished to destroy space” during our latest round of riots. Our republican (in Maryland, that means a mostly sane democrat rather than a freak psychopath socialist) governor signed several clearly unconstitutional restrictions on our individual, God-given right to keep and bear arms.
When I asked a local, gun-friendly sheriff about my chances at a concealed carry permit, he literally laughed - it was two minutes before he was capable of conducting a real conversation on the topic. I know a lot of pro-gun cops in my state, but I also know that the democrats control Maryland, and the vast majority of criminals are their most reliable voters. Sanctuary cities for criminals are just fine in the freak state. Sanctuary counties for our God-given and constitutionally-protected rights? Not a chance with the thugs in our legislature.
