More than anything, she is an attention seeker. She threw bombs from the Right, and that’s why a lot of people here (including me) liked her. In the wussified Compassionate Conservative Bush era, that was a refreshing change from the “turn the other cheek” or “there’s nothing we can do” hand-wringing of the Republican leadership. Now she’s throwing bombs to rile up the Right. I view her like Kayne West. When she says something I agree with or find amusing, great. But I don’t view her (and never have viewed her) as any type of conservative opinion leader.
