U.S. military commanders and defense analysts not only see a new “Cold War” with Russia coming, they see something far worse if the two countries continue along the same path: Outright war that would devastate both countries and make large portions of the planet uninhabitable for centuries.

The deep chill in U.S.-Russian relations is stirring concern in some quarters that Washington and Moscow are in danger of stumbling into an armed confrontation that, by mistake or miscalculation, could lead to nuclear war.
American and European analysts and current and former U.S. military officers say the nuclear superpowers need to talk more. A foundational arms control agreement is being abandoned and the last major limitation on strategic nuclear weapons could go away in less than two years. Unlike during the Cold War, when generations lived under threat of a nuclear Armageddon, the two militaries are barely on speaking terms.

One forgotten aspect of the Russia collusion hoax, but perhaps the most dangerous of them all.
These people were literally willing to risk nuclear war in order to push what they knew was a baldfaced lie.
If we actually got in to a hot war over the collusion nonsense, media personnel who pummeled us with the lies are responsible, and therefore legitimate targets. That they would put us through war because we beat them in an election shows they can never be trusted. Never.
Every time Trump tried to patch things up, the Democrats/deep state/media accused him of treason. What they’ve done and are still doing is the worst treason imaginable which will result in Apocalyptic death and suffering.
Hopefully with the release of the Mueller report and complete vindication of any Russia collusion, this should give Trump more room to operate in regards to Russia. I think a meeting with Putin is in order at some point this year.

Isn’t it odd that the same group of people who claim the world as we know it is ending in a few short decades due to “climate change” (even though the climate has always changed and the world has ALWAYS adapted) have zero qualms about nuclear warheads flying around between old super powers, nor about terrorist states acquiring such capabilities?
I really think these people are more dark and more full of hate than a simple grievance with current social order.

Russia is far less of a threat than China. This article is purely “look - a squirrel!!”
Confrontation with Russia and China is baked into our progressive national cake.
