How about their civil rights? We can get some of them pulled.
Specifically, the ones that get pulled when you go to prison, or are executed for treason.
That’s a different matter than regulatory actions like pulling a license. Further, the Alien and Sedition Act has long been a dead letter in the courts. Unless you can catch these people in a libel or slander action, they won’t be going to jail. They probably wouldn’t even be charged; they’re smart enough to stay on this side of that line.
Correction, that would be the Sedition Act of 1918, which was repealed in 1920. The original Sedition Acts of 1789 are the ones that are mostly a dead letter now.
The individual broadcast stations have licenses.

Yup, but killing those won’t stop the network and won’t even stop the majority of viewers. And most of those local stations are just affiliates, not owned by the network.
I point you to the vast piles of modern unsolved crimes. The clearing rate for crimes these days is very low and most criminals go uncaught now.
How many of them have threatened a sitting President?
Remember, their best chance for not getting caught is staying off the radar.

Actually, that won't dry up completely. Regular smokers are typically addicted to the nicotine and a lot of them won't quit smoking quite literally to save their own lives. In Maryland, they're about 5 or 6 dollars a pack, and yet nearly the entire staff at the local Food Lion is taking smoke breaks. The smoking rate may be down to 20%, but it's a pretty solid 20%, IMO. They're addicts, period, which makes this form of taxation horrible, since the government is taking advantage of the addicts.
True story: a friend's father just passed away. He had COPD and was on oxygen, but kept smoking, anyhow. If he had not died from his ruined lungs, he would have died from blowing himself up.

While I admit I am NOT everyone, I really can’t buy your response based on I was smoking 4 packs of regular Camels a day, decided to stop and did.
I did have some help though, I also was in the process of not drinking and I had been averaging 1 1/2 case of beer and a few drinks a day.
So I used the ‘ache’ of one withdrawal by concentrating on the other....<: <: <:
Worst(?) part was about 6 months into it my wife made a remark about my drinking....she didn’t realize I hadn’t had a drop in 6 months....
That was in 90-91 and have held fast to both...
I do drink O’Douls but after 30 or so years of HEAVY drinking, OD is a good choice...
