The IRS Commissioner should reply that if he complys, he will also be releasing copies of every members of Congress’s returns since 4 years before they were first elected to the DOJ for audit.

Reply once again, saying that it would be illegal to allow ANOTHER fishing expedition through Trumps tax returns, which were legally filed and contained no issues that required any further IRS action.
Then, I guess: "REQUEST DENIED".

I can see double secret probation in the future for the IRS if they do not comply.
A “necessary and proper” law can not be used in a manner that would violate the Constitution.
The Congressional Democratic motives are purely partisan political and highly improper.
And don’t forget Amendment IV:
“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated”
Trump’s lawyers need to inform the Commissioner of the IRS to ignore the improper and unconstitutional ‘crat request and get a court injunction ASAP.
