Newsom visited the tomb Sunday on his first international trip to El Salvador, accompanied by his wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom and Assemblywoman Wendy Carrillo, the only Salvadoran immigrant in the California Legislature.
Newsom said he chose El Salvador for his first international trip because the state’s relationship with Central America is key to California’s future. Nearly 680,000 Salvadoran immigrants live in California, he notes.

In one of the nastier areas of DC two MS-13 guys got caught by a video street-light camera (2 in the morning) shooting at unknown others.
You would have thought they would have shot out the camera to avoid being identified—guess again—they hammed it up for the camera (stared right at it) and then kept right on shooting!
A police station was close enough to hear the shots—of course the DC cops waited until the shooting was long over before making an appearance—no point in risking your life if the Mayor and City Council won’t back you up...

One of those Salvadoran immigrants happen to be a former neighbor whose mother came with her grandchildren who came into the US and my neighbor came over to join her mother & kids by over staying her visa and later helped her husband come to the US. Hubby was so grateful that he helped 2 of his mistresses come to the US.
I wonder if Gruesome Newsome went to pick up his MORDIDA.
