Former Secretary of State John Kerry and Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., had a heated exchange Tuesday over Kerry's education and climate change.
Kerry, 75, appeared before the House Oversight and Reform Committee hearing to talk about climate change. The incredible exchange began when Massie read a quote Kerry said regarding President Trump’s advisers.
“It sounds like you’re questioning the credentials of the president’s advisers, but I don’t think we should question your credentials today. Isn’t it true you have a science degree from Yale?” Massie asked Kerry.
Kerry replied that he had a bachelor of arts degree from the university.

Kerry is a doofus and a half but Massie showed himself to be a double doofus in this exchange.
Whatever it was, it was enough to get him a commission in the USN.

A BA for Kerry and Divinity School dropout who got a C- in Science are now the brains on Climate Change.
You could drive a fleet of Semi’s thru this hole in logic and still the GOP-e says and does nothing.

“Is it a political science degree?” Massie, who has two engineering degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, asked.
“Yes, it’s political science,” the former Massachusetts senator said.
“So, how do you get a bachelor of arts in science?” the congressman asked.
“Well it’s liberal arts education and - it’s a bachelor,” Kerry said.
“So, it’s not really science. I think it’s somewhat appropriate that somebody with a pseudoscience degree is here pushing pseudoscience in front of our committee,” Massie said.
sKerry has a BA in Political Science. Essentially toilet paper when you get right down to it. No Calculus, No Newtonian Mechanics, No Quantum Mechanics, No Basic Chem, or Oragnic Chem, or Field and Wave Electromagnetism, or Partial Diff EQ's, or anything else besides beer guzzling.

i actually wonder sometimes why people at the highest level dont all have doctorals in their fields, it would be a scientocracy, yet still we give ear and power to weaklings with weak CVs like Kerry. i hate listening to neil cavut o talk about everything when his education is a big nothing.
Johns polysci degree got him elected in Ma. and we all know how hard that is for a democrat.

When I was in the Navy anyone with a college degree would get a commission. It didn’t matter if it was Biochemical Engineering or Basket Weaving.
Whatever it was, it was enough to get him a commission in the USN.For the Navy, any degree, or none at all can get you one.
Not a big or complaint, just a fact.
