Outgoing Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Thursday defended Attorney General William Barr against allegations that he is misleading Congress and the public about the special counsel’s Russia report.
“He’s being as forthcoming as he can, and so this notion that he’s trying to mislead people, I think is just completely bizarre,” Rosenstein said in a rare interview with The Wall Street Journal.
Democrats have accused Barr of releasing misleading information about special counsel Robert Mueller’s findings from his 22-month investigation, which focused on possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, as well as whether President Trump tried to obstruct the probe.

Wouldn’t Mueller come out and say so if the report was being misrepresented? Of course he would. These Dems just look more and more foolish to the ordinary person. Only their own dimwits buy into this rubbish.
Rosenstein always has his nose in the air to detect any change in the direction the wind is blowing.
He approved the FISA. He may have ulterior motives knowing Barr will investigate.

He needs to be brought before grand juries where he can’t take the 5th. After they finish with him, assuming the US Attorney doing the questioning, he’s going to need to drink a FIFTH.
The choices about his terrible behavior on the Mueller Witchhunt range from:
* Totally Incompetent
* Totally Uncomprehending
* Totally corrupt
* Totally Deep State Anti-Trump hater and maestro
* Played the Orchestra Maestro but at a distance. Wanted “plausible deniability” or “deniable plausibility”
* Any combination of the above and whatever else you can think of.

This behavior by the Democrats is alarming because it too closely matches the behavior of communist governments that accept nothing but their version of the "truth." They have nothing good to say about the rule of law, our constitution, and those who uphold it. Their hysterical behavior mimics Maduro as he doubles down on those who oppose his repressive regime.
The Dems are getting more and more vicious, unreasonable, and far from the USA. What are they trying to accomplish besides a coup? Who are they trying to fool, besides their hate Trump base?

I wouldn’t go that far, as in calling him a white hat, but he’s also not nearly as much anti-Trump as the Democrats wished for. During some of the silly indictments, like that Russian group buying Facebook ads, Rosenstein was out there saying they had nothing at all to do with Trump. The Dems should have taken that as a clue, since Rosenstein could have just as easily said nothing regarding their non-link to Trump.
That was the better side of Rosenstein, but the bad side is that he didn’t force the Mueller crap to end...only Barr did that. I suspect what transpired was something like this: Barr shows up, calls Mueller and Rosenstein into his office and asks them what they have on Trump colluding with Russia, they say
Mueller/Rosenstein: “....nothing, but look at what we found about Trump 29 years ago when got a favor from General Dinkins’s staff to expedite his plumbing permit for this apartment building”
Barr: What does this have to do with Russian collusion in the 2016 election.
M/R: Nothing, but we can indict Trump for bribing the major and send him away for 15 years after leaving the office.
Barr: You have 30 days to send me your final report on Russian collusion.
Rosenstein could have done the same for at least the past 12 months...but did not.
