The Republican governor of Arizona quickly signed a bill Thursday repealing a 1991 Arizona law that had barred HIV and AIDS instruction in public schools because it could promote a homosexual lifestyle.
The move was intended to end a discrimination lawsuit filed by LGBTQ groups.
The signing by Gov. Doug Ducey came less than an hour after the state Senate approved the repeal with a 19-10 vote.

Sure. I’m not buying this for a moment.
Recruit the kiddies before they’ve been predated upon or otherwise molested and then lie to them about prevention.
Prevention equals disease if you keep practicing risky sex, and homosexual sex is risky. Riskier than normal sex.

Condoms are optional folks; it’s a zero sum game.

Governor Ducey is a very practical governor. His lawyers told him there is no way the state would win in court, and they would end up having to pay a ton of money to the LGBTQ-P creeps to make even more trouble.
However, he does not suffer such fools gladly. I suspect he is working with the senate and the house to suck all the life out of this indoctrination and propaganda using other means.
Ducey is a RINO. Nothing surprises me anymore. Many R’s at the state level are more RINO than conservative!!
Instruction should take about 5 minutes. Show them the statistics. About 80% of AIDS cases are the result of gay sex or using dirty needles to inject drugs. Or both. And don’t have straight sex with an AIDS-infected individual. Remove the riskiest behavior and the AIDS incidence would decline dramatically.

I was married in the State of Michigan. Back in the 80’s they passed a law stating that in order to get a marriage license you first had to attend an AIDS public health lecture.
Three hours of my life sitting in a public auditorium in Flint with couples 18-70something watching an NC-17 rated slide show. I learned how to protect myself during activities I NEVER would have thought of in a million years, were it not for the generosity of the taxpayers of the State of Michigan.

I’m confused. I’ve been told incessantly that HIV/AIDS is NOT a “gay disease.” So, where is their argument?
Exactly.
I’ve had this discussion with other doctors, epidemiologists, infectious disease specialists going on decades.
Condoms fail in use and people fail to use them.
They are NOT a 100% STI-protective device (abstinence before marriage, fidelity until death is the only proven method here), meaning, if you play, you WILL lose, and the overwhelming majority of new HIV/AIDS patients is among homosexual males - still - to the best of our knowledge (‘cause privacy trumps things like contact tracing, reporting new cases and who has them among which demographic) well over 90%.
Of course this virus was agendized and propagandized as “everyone’s disease” by the left decades ago and the myth was forced upon us and perpetuated to protect homosexuals while they spread the virus all over the globe and do so to this day along with Syphilis, gonorrhea (comes in antibiotic-resistant strain now), chlamydia, and so on.
