in 2008 I was convinced that people wouldn’t be stupid enough to vote for a nobody like 0bama. In 2012, I was convinced that people wouldn’t be stupid enough to vote for a failure like 0bama a 2nd time. Now, even with Trump in the White House, I’m not so sure that we won’t end up with someone like a Booker, Harris, O’Rourk or Warren the next time around. If we do, we will have ringside seats to our country being washed down the tubes forever.

I agree. The Demos, Warner, Booker, and Harris have changed their playbook from calling for reparations to asking for Congress to “investigate” the potential of reparations.

This is their typical ploy, so that they will earnestly argue that they are not for reparations, but for a study to investigate reparations during any Presidential debate.

Someone has probably poll-tested their initial approach and realized that granting reparations up-front is a non-starter with “independent voters”
