Both teams won championships in a short time and they seemed to be friends and promoted each other..but you have one owner arrested for solicitation and the other owning the dominant paper in town, denanding release of a video of owner #1.Awkward.
And Red Sox are social justice warriors and politically correct.High prices, lots of ad intrusions..but sports fans will take it as long as they win it all.
The team that used to have an 86 yr drought and the one that used to be called the Patsies.Anyway, “You can’t make this stuff up”.
Maybe an MLB team in Vegas one day? Think they have a minor league one...Used to be major leagues shied away from associations with gambling but now NHL is in Vegas and I think Raiders on way there.
...run out of town for being a Tea Party supporter...
*beloved = media-endorsed belovedness
And then of course, Curt Schilling.
I hate the Boston Globe.
Unless they will not be in attendance at Gillette Stadium, who cares?
Oh man, great point.
What the Sox did to Schill is beyond the pale.
No Schill, no 2004 WS victory, no breaking of the curse. Then they treat him like absolute garbage because he has the temerity to believe a different brand of politics. Shameful.
He's a great Twitter follow, though.
"Teddy f***in' Williams knocks it out of the pahk! Fenway Pahk on its feet for Teddy f***in' Ballgame! He went yardo on that one, out to f***in' Lansdowne Street!"
