Sidelined Because She Rejects Radical Green Agendas?

“Somebody once described the environmentalist wackos as watermelons — green on the outside, but red on the inside.”

I had an Asian female employee years ago (Japanese born and raised in Taiwan). She was unhappy with her two college educated children. She referred to them as “Coconuts” sometimes - brown on the outside white on the inside.

Her daughter was engaged to a Jewish fellow and her son had a “white” American girlfriend.

I had heard the Coconut expression before she mentioned it, and I found her use of it rather harsh and strangely racist for a mother to use in reference to her own children.
