The “window” is written into the contract.
Contractual agreements are held in very high regard by the courts and even by otherwise pro-conservative legal eagles like the Independence Law Center.
They won’t touch it.
They will stick to their unions until their unions are found to be stealing their annuities and retirement funds to stay alive and support rat candidates who will keep them in their pockets
Simply because the law changed is enough to supercede the prior agreement as moot.
