I just sent you a ping on income tax. I forgot to include in what I wrote that I decided to look over part of the long list of forms for taxes. There were quite a few that had PR after them, I presume indicating that they were different from the forms the rest of us have to fill out.
My point was that like Puerto Rico, some states get a lot more from the federal government than they ever pay in through taxes. DC on the other hand pays in 3 or 4 times what they get back, unlike PR or Mississippi or Lousiana.
