Repression against civilians continues in occupied Afrin.
In Afrin where massacre, plunder and torture have been committed systematically since its occupation by the Turkish state and allied jihadist mercenaries, civilians continue to be the target of occupation forces.
According to latest reports, the Turkish state has started to give Turkish ID cards to the civilians in Afrin as part of its attempts to change the population structure in the region.
The Turkish state had previously changed the ID cards of Kurdish civilians in Rajo and other districts of Afrin.
Ethic cleansing continues with no let up. It is being done by ISIS and al Qaeda (al Nusra) under the protection of Turkey.
If Turkey did not protect them, the N. Syrianb Kurds would take them out without help in a very short time.
The world must understand what Turkey is doing in Afrin (Efrin) in N. Syria. They are continuing the Great Evil they had repeatedly done from the end of WWI. Great Evil = Metz Yeghern (Armenian for "the Great Evil", aka Genocide). Turkey has never admitted committing the Genocide because they never intend to stop.)

The card reads, “Afrin Local Council ID Card.”
The local council members are selected by ISIS, al Qaeda (Nusra) and other Jihadi groups. It is selected for loyalty to Turkey and is in NO WAY responsive to any group there before Turkish Invasion.
It has been this way since SDF left Efrin Afrin on 18Mar2018. It was taken by Turk forces with huge air cover and 3,000 ISIS militia, many Nusra (al Qaeda) jihadi’s and the FSA Jihadis..
Kurds decided against staying because the city would be totally destroyed by the air assault if they did not leave. 350,000 people were immediately displaced. Kurds, Ezidi, Christians and Alevi. Some groups had been there since 1915.
I know how the Kurds feel about this. It will not be over until it is retaken or they are all dead(not likely).

Turkish occupation granted ID cards to settlers to participate in Turkish election

Turkish state wants to exploit the Syrian crisis for their benefit through settlement of the Syrian refugees, its occupation of Syrian territories is increased day by day, in particular with the approaching of the local elections in Turkey, which serve demographic change that is being sought to it.
ID cards were issued to Afrin canton’s people by Turkish state and the settlers who are coming from Syrian provinces, according to information obtained from Afrin, stressing that more than 2,000 Turkish ID cards have been granted to the settlers and the people of Afrin, that will grant them the chance to participate in the Turkish elections to support (AKP) in the next elections.
Note; it says 2,000 cards. The city is much larger, before the build up by refugees in Afrin, the population in 2005 was 172,000 in the city itself. During the war there were huge refugee camps that came for shelter from the war.

Turks spelled it Afrin.
