EXCERPT—The CPD has worked closely with Foxx’s office for years and has been frustrated with declination of prosecution, low bail, and other moves of hers.

Foxx also is antagonizing the public by posing as an expert and telling the public that they are too dumb to understand the technicalities of her work. Speaking to reporters for Chicago’s public radio station WBEZ, she said:

“I think the confusion for people who don’t understand the intricacies of the justice system, who don’t understand alternative prosecution or diversion or alternate outcomes outside of prison or lengthy probation, it’s a hard thing for people to process.”

She made the false claim that the treatment of Smollett is customary: “But every single day on cases that law enforcement partners work diligently on, there are people who get similar arrangements, people who get diversion, people who get sentences that are probably not what some people would want. Every single day.”

Unfortunately for her, Fox News obtained a copy of an internal memo in which staffers were frantically asked to come up with examples that could back up her reckless and false assertion that the dropped charges in the Jussie Smollett case weren’t as uncommon or shocking as they seemed.

"I skipped law class the day they taught penalizing multiple felonies. I was getting my nails done."

Chicago columnists blasted Kim Foxx's decision to drop the 16 felony counts against hoaxer Smollett. Chicago police union called for a federal investigation into Kim Foxx’s handling of the case.....her sub rosa actions on the Smollett family’s behalf after she was contacted by Tina Tchen, Michelle Obama's onetime aide. “Amateur hour is over.” ....this is nothing new for Kim Foxx. We’ve been complaining about her for two years on so many levels. Her office is just completely out of control.”

Equally reprehensible are the idiots at Southern Illinois University School of Law who gave her a law degree. And those at Southern Illinois University Carbondale who let her out.

Tina is the plausible cutout.

There was no need for her unless she was trying to pull strings.

“...the State’s Attorney has failed in her most fundamental ethical obligations to the public. The IPBA condemns these actions.”

Then disbar the pig already!

What is being missed here is OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE, There was obvious political intervention to obstruct justice. She was a big part of that conspiracy which involved the Obama’s ans their conspiring agents. It also may have included Jesse Jackson. This must be exposed so it never happens again. This was real OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE. Nothing fake about it . I do not understand any further delay is mail fraud charges. That case is MADE!!His DNA all over the white powder letter he sent to the tv production office? He licked the damned stamp? arrest that POC!! Where the hell are those accomplices of his? Paid off? That is WITNESS TAMPERING!!! They had no claim!!!

Right. Also, if there are any good people left in the FBI/DOJ, they will be ready to rip this liberal bs apart and charge the elite rats with serious crimes.

12 is a pretty strong letter. Usually 0bama’s little minions are a little more careful about at least the appearance of propriety. This one was so in-your-face that I can’t help but suspect it was deliberately so; if so, it’s first class hubris.

“Equally reprehensible are the idiots at Southern Illinois University School of Law who gave her a law degree.”

Wonder how SIU alums are going to deal with this embarrassment? Probably like Boston U. and the Cortez they produced.

I think you pretty much nailed the situation including the witness tampering angle.

This is some real news a CNN panel should be talking about but they will choose something fake to drone on about.

So..Foxx is claiming:

.... that sealing the Smollett court files was 'an accident'

.... that she had recused herself but evidently did not bother with the paperwork necessary for such a recusal.

__________________________________________________________

The National District Attorneys Association 'heavily criticized' Foxx in a statement:

"First:.....when a chief prosecutor recuses him or herself, the recusal must apply to the entire office, not just the elected or appointed prosecutor. This is consistent with best practices for prosecutors' offices around the country."

"Second:.... prosecutors should not take advice from politically connected friends of the accused. Each case should be approached with the goal of justice for victims while protecting the rights of the defendant."

"Third:......when a prosecutor seeks to resolve a case through diversion or some other alternative to prosecution, it should be done so with an acknowledgement of culpability on the part of the defendant. A case with the consequential effects of Mr. Smollett's should NOT be resolved without a finding of guilt or innocence."

"Fourth:.....expunging Mr. Smollett's record at this immediate stage is counter to transparency. Law enforcement will now not be able to acknowledge that Mr. Smollett was indicted and charged with these horrible crimes and the full record of what occurred will be forever hidden from public view."

(Finally, we believe strongly that hate crimes should be prosecuted vigorously but the burden of proof should not be artificially increased due to the misguided decisions of others.)

The letter appears to be the culmination of an accumulation of frustrations with the blatant stupidity of Foxx’s dumb moves over the years.

Yep. And Big Daddy came through with the payoff.
$408k, with all of SoreASS' gazillions that's all it took to make all this "go away"? What a cheap low rent whore Kim Foxx is.
