The only part that I agree with is yes, Trump did not need to say anything. But that’s it. The “toxic” environment is not Trump’s creation. It is the creation of the Dim party machine and agenda that runs most of the media.
But, in Rahm’s favor, he himself beat all the Washington D.C. political class, taking the right stance publicly that the sealing of the Smollet case was a “whitewash” and a betrayal of the good work of the police and the grand jury that made the indictments. I am no fan of Mr Emanuel but he absolutely did the right thing after the corrupt state’s attorney for Cook County, Ms Foxx, sealed the case and essentially letting Smollet off the hook.
Yes, I like Trump, but us “winning” does not require him to publicly comment on everything. And yes, sometimes his comments actually don’t help. I don’t have to like everything he does, even while I agree with his judicial choices and policy decisions 99% of the time.
