Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rebuked Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) on Tuesday for her recent comments about the motivation of American allies of Israel, arguing that her remarks do more than just attack Israel — they target the Jewish people.
Netanyahu, speaking by video from Israel on the final day of the annual American Israel Public Affairs Committee Policy Conference, did not use Omar’s name, but he singled her out by referring to a comment she made on Twitter last month.
“From this Benjamin: It’s not about the Benjamins,” Netanyahu said, responding to a February tweet by Omar purporting that U.S. politicians’ support for Israel was linked to campaign contributions.
Omar had tweeted, “It’s all about the Benjamins baby,” a reference to $100 bills.
“Those who seek to defame this great organization, AIPAC, those who seek to undermine American support for Israel, they must be confronted,” Netanyahu said. “Despite what they claim, they do not merely criticize the policies of the Israeli government. They do something else: They spew venom that has long been directed at the Jewish people. Again, the Jews are cast as a force for evil. Again, the Jews are charged with disloyalty. Again, the Jews are said to have too much influence, too much power, too much money.”
Omar, a Somali refugee and one of the first Muslim women elected to Congress, responded quickly to Netanyahu’s comments, tweeting: “This from a man facing indictments for bribery and other crimes in three separate public corruption affairs. Next!”
Later in the day, she chastised Netanyahu in a series of tweets for focusing on her rather than on the global rise of white supremacy.

Outside of Europe, Israel is the most LGBTQ friendly nation in the world. They are very liberal in their laws and have a high population of atheists. Yet they are the enemy of the left.

Omar comes from one of the worst countries in the world. A country run by war lords. Low life expectancy. High child mortality. Children deprived of nutrition who grow up to be idiots. No respect for the rights of individuals. A barbaric and primitive place whose main source of revenue comes from piracy and kidnapping. EVERYBODY ELSE in the world is superior to Somalis. But, according to Omar. it’s all the white man’s fault, and the Jews.
Perhaps this thread should be read by all the Liberals in Congress who remain silent and not censoring the speaking out against the antiSemitic, hate-filled trio. God will judge them accordingly.

The cash flowing to Congress keeps various Congress Critters supporting this or that agenda or country but if all the groups paying for influence now stopped paying others would replace them over night so to some extent, paying Congress Critters is self-defense. It's playing a rigged game that's the only game in town just like degenerate gamblers will play in a crooked poker game if it's the only game in town.
It's part of the cash sloshing around due to corruption, it wouldn't happen if Congress Critters and their staff were honest, and something that has to end in order to straighten out the DC Bubble. But until there's a major change in the way voters look at who they send to the bubble, it ain't gonna change.

Most Israelis ride the bus, walk, or pick up hitchhikers. They don’t really have a lot of Benjamins.
The Israelis kidnaped, tried and hung war criminal Adolph Eichaman in 1962. Long memory. Benjamin Netanyahu’s brother Yoni was killed in the raid on Entebbe. Mr Netanyahu has not forgotten that. Mossad is not to be screwed with. Just saying.
Omar would be more comfortable in, and is certainly better suited to, a fascist government somewhere in Greater Arabistan.
Her sort of ignorance is NOT what American government (even at its lowest ebb) is all about.
Now that ISIS has lost all of its territory, I'd prefer that we support the boundaries of all countries. The only exception would be to give the northern third of Iraq (their territory) to the Kurds as their own nation. And stop the regime change mischief. Iran and Syria (and all the others) have the right to choose their leaders and their form of government. Saudi Arabia is not a good friend to favor.
I suspect a lot of US citizens across the political spectrum agree with Omar when she says "it's about the Benjamins". Our DC pols are on the whole pretty disgusting, and they don't want their swamp drained!
