AOC is stupid in the way she hit back at Lee. She would have caused him a lot more damage by saying, “We disagree on this but I’m grateful that Sen Lee joined me in fighting Trumps wall”.
That would have reminded conservatives of what Lee is trying to make them forget
The wall vote counted, it was important - and Lee joined the enemies. The Green New Deal hoopla was a meaningless sideshow to make us forget how Lee and other RINOs try to torpedo the wall. Their ploy is working, to judge by all the applause from Freepers
I know why he is against the funding for the wall, because he knows Dems will use it to rally against guns or free speech..

If we had joined Lee in demanding a national emergency declaration not be issued, the Democrats would definitely have been cowed into never using their own declarations again in ways harmful to the Republic. They’re real honorable that way. Why, thank God McConnell won’t use the nuclear option the Democrats invented. We need never fear it when the Democrats regain control. /all the sarcasm
