Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Britain was doing fine solo until their family feud over royal succession ended in 1066 at the Battle of Hastings with their Frenchified Viking cousin William’s army kicking their ass-even with that, they picked right up and got along fine for nearly 1000 years until they got into the EU-why are they freaking out about not having the EU now?
