We have to be honest at times and admit that not all of our military ventures since WW2 have been prudent.
Iraq was really an early experiment in toppling an Arab strong man, with chaotic results. Then we went after Qaddafi and Mubarak and Assad.
It takes a strong man dictator to keep the crazy neck cutters from running all over the place cutting necks. Seems to me somebody wants this to happen, Arab Spring and all.
Its all part of the engagement and nation-building in mideast sh**holes that allowed her admittance into the USA.

No, actually for more than a decade the international community monitored, inspected and reviewed a long list of weapons and facilities, all the way up to just prior to the initiation of OIF. Where’d all that hardware and capability go to? Surely it was there, surely it remained.....or was moved Just ask those who actually sifted through the rubble and hidey-holes. Plus, review the reports of the convoys routing to SYR in the early days, and the recovery and sale/disposal of some 20 MT of Yellowcake. The Iraq War was the beginning of my losing faith in the Bush family I found it to be a very odd way to respond to the attack on the Towers especially since it took so long to launch. A swift and surgical strike (at Saudi Arabia), would have been much more effective, IMO.
They will continue to deal with her based on being “Politically Correct”.. in reality she needs to be stepped on and crushed like the COCKROACH she is.

The Iraq war was not directly related to 9/11 however the basis of the was was that the US would preemptively remove threats to US security. Saddam had WMD. He used them on Iran, the Kurds and his own people. Saddam tried to acquire the means of producing nuclear weapons. That’s why W removed him.
The first gulf war was ended by a cease fire agreement, not a peace treaty, so a violation of the terms justified that it could be resumed. W had both congressional UN approval for hostilities. The war was legal.
The UN demanded that Saddam comply with the disarmament terms. Saddam did not comply. W was authorized to use force to disarm Iraq.
Al Qaeda made Iraq a front and extended the insurgency. Fighters from outside of Iraq flowed in to join the remnants of Saddam’s tribe. By 2008 W had them beat. Victory in Iraq was a gigantic success and gave the middle east hope that democracy could succeed. The victory set off the middle east spring and tyrants were toppled.
Obama snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by pulling the troops out Iraq in an act of treasonous spite. ISIS filled the void and built its horrific caliphate. Not to mention, it was McCain’s idea to train and arm Syrian “moderates” to fight Assad who promptly switch sides and became ISIS. Christians were slaughtered, enslaved and taken as sex slaves thanks to Obama’s collaboration with Iran. Obama, not W, squandered the lives and treasure invested in the Iraq war and handed victory to Iran.
Omar, the parrot, mindlessly repeats the false left wing narrative on the Iraq war. I hope W and his admin wakes up and fires back for a change. Condoleezza vs Omar the tent maker would be an interesting debate.
Does this clownish Member of Congress realize that both houses of Congress voted to authorize the invasion of Iraq? Even Hillary Clinton voted in favor of the military invasion.

The war you know is completely opposite the war I experienced.
What you know of the war is the product of relentless propaganda intended to disparage republicans and benefit democrats in elections. It worked just as the exact same playbook worked in Vietnam with the almost identical outcome -a newly elected Dem Congress cutting funds necessitating a US withdrawal and the inevitable, completely anticipated bloodbath which followed.
