He’s a NeverTrumper at his core.

From what I can find out, he looks more like a "not Trumper" or a "Trump skeptic."

He's not Team Trump, but it doesn't sound like hating Donald Trump is the focus of his life.

He makes a valid point about the venomousness of politics nowadays, but it's not going to convince people who are already envenomed.
