Here’s their out: From the article

“But Strzok, in his closed-door interview, denied that the DOJ exercised undue influence over the FBI, and insisted that lawyers at the DOJ were involved in an advisory capacity working with agents.”

“Advisory capacity” yeah, as in I advise you do this and, if you don’t, you’ll get what’s coming to you. Unsaid, but understood.

Meanwhile they send a force larger than the Bin Laden raid team to arrest Roger Stone.

And tens of thousands of black dudes are sitting in prison thinking “man, I should have really negotiated a deal with the FBI and told them where and when they could search my house, phone, and what they could take and what they couldn’t”.

Banana Republic. These SOBs have to go to prison or this country is done.

The agreement was reached, Strzok said, because “according to the attorneys, we lacked probable cause to get a search warrant for those servers and projected that either it would take a very long time and/or it would be impossible to get to the point where we could obtain probable cause to get a warrant.”
___________
How is it possible that they did not have probable cause? This seems fishy on the face of it.

"...tax documents showed a plunge in its incoming donations after Clinton’s 2016 presidential election loss."

Little editorial cleanup there.

So...Congress knew about all this over a year ago, and just sat on it. Not only SAT on it, but democrats just kept pushing the Trump is evil line. Maggots! Although, if they turned it over to the justice department as it was then, it probably would have been buried even deeper. But then, REPUBLICANS were in power then! There is absolutely NO excuse for their behavior. Feckless, underhanded maggots.
