I should have mentioned I think it was written some time ago. Well in advance of events.

Your comment was such a jewel of brevity and nicely expressed ideas that I've quoted the entire thing below. ^^;

I agree that shadowy agents provocateurs may have been ultimately behind this event, but I strongly suspect the actual attacker is just one more admittedly bright but undeniably unbalanced slob who fell into the mindset of believing extreme violence to be the only viable solution to the problem that existed in his head. His manifesto brims with individual initiative. He may very well have been quietly guided into violence and perhaps even secretly supplied with the financial wherewithal to create havoc, but that doesn't reduce his direct, personal responsibility for shooting up two mosques and killing 49 people as reported. If the "Deep State" was behind this event, well, the tradition of pushing a sacrificial goat into radical actions has a long history.

I also quite agree that the manifesto is riddled with intellectually contradictory ideas, which is why I briefly commented earlier on the cultural value of this document as an insight into the tenor of the times, which has become flooded with intellectually contradictory, intensely leftist ideas. Regrettably, it also meanders all over the map in repeatedly expressing apparent admiration of several conservative personalities and superficially right-wing ideas such as the right to keep and bear arms. I think this wide-ranging intellectual landscape genuinely reflects the fellow's personal mentality, but you're incontrovertibly correct in predicting that that the media doofuses at ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, HuffPo, and every other blubberingly leftist outlet will go bat-guano insane with "white supremacist" and "gun nut" tropes. After being repeatedly disappointed by a long string of supposedly right-wing killers who turned out in reality to be far-leftist maniacs, they finally have a leftist killer who can be plausibly labeled as an genuine white supremacist. Naturally, the clear leftism in the manifesto will be totally ignored with the white supremacist and pro-firearms bits being blared to high heaven across every possible channel.

Furthermore, I truly wonder how this drama will play out in the courts once the killer, who evidently was captured alive, has the opportunity to take the stand. Will the powers that be move to permanently shut him up before he can speak? Will he have a lethal "accident" in jail? Will he even be permitted to personally testify in his own defense? Will he ultimately try for an insanity plea at the urging of his lawyer? Is that allowed by New Zealand's criminal laws? Are there any other legal quirks that would complicate the criminal case? So many questions arise. O_o

In a final note, I see that Fox News has been blaring the following headline: "49 dead as racist maniac mows down worshippers in New Zealand mosques; attack possibly livestreamed". Possibly? I watched the attack video myself earlier this morning after locating a reasonable version of it on a well-known website that affects the general theme of "Yarrr, me matey." Is this a transparent attempt to manipulate the general populace into not seeking out some increasingly "mythical" live-streamed video that in reality increasingly becomes confined to a few niche websites and multiple file servers hidden in the bowels of the Deep State? It's not an especially interesting video — footage of extremely violent Islamic horrors against innocent Christians and others across the globe has been far, far worse — but trying to disappear the video down the memory hole is useless and condescending.

The manifesto is full of contradictions.

Some parts are heavy on nationalism, other parts talk about being green and he calls himself a fascist and says he most closely identifies with People’s Republic of China politically and later talks about creating chaos with [A]ntifa or [A]linsky actions.

The guy is all over the map.

It makes me believe this is not an organic attack.

The way the manifesto is written there is something for everyone on the political spectrum and the media can spin it off into any direction that suits them at the time.

All the bases are covered.

This is an agent provocateur, IMO.

“Sounds like a Leftist wrote this - trying to check off all the boxes.”

and the timing is pretty coincidental, isn’t it

He wrote....”I was a communist, then an anarchist and finally a libertarian before becoming an “eco-fascist”.....

There are statements in Tarrant’s manifesto that can be used by both sides to score political points on the other.
Truth is he planned this attack and pulled the trigger all by himself. He’s the sole responsibility party. Full stop.

As I've expressed....Truth is he planned and coordinated this attack and then pulled the trigger all by himself. He's the sole responsibility party. Full stop.

Perspective:

During 2018 there were 1,976 'Islamic attacks' in 56 countries, in which 11,769 people were killed and 11,483 injured......And just this month Christians were attacked yet again...yet our media gives these a footnote at best....

....”The shooters usually don’t have any personal animosity for the people they kill. They are just killing.”.....

Watching this guys film he continued to unload his weapon ruthlessly on already shot and downed groups people.....that's overkill which always depicts one 'full of rage'........this guy was well beyond hate and anger. His manifesto was 'justifying to himself' his lust fo killing in his twisted mind.

I still believe he had help.

One thing nobody has mentioned is how this could possibly effect censorship on social media.

Since he livestreamed his attack and published everything on 8 chan there could be a major crackdown on internet communications.

Yes but why is he angry at them?/ What did they do to him? When the Nazis put the Jews into the death camps, they weren’t angry at them. It was a means to an ends.

He was the only one shooter in that building....whatever ‘assistance’ he had 'along the way' is only relevant to the investigation in putting the puzzle together. But the facts remain as they are...he was the only one pulling the trigger in that building.

As for social media...some of these communications are allowed as investigators follow their postings in order to track and discover who and where they are... so many attempted attacks have been stopped long before they are carried out as a result. People are often flabbergasted and stunned at what people express on line.....unfortunately that is exactly what human nature is hiding behind a computer screen. Only by the grace of God are we any different....

“Rage” will always find a target to express itself once it becomes unbridled. This guy was an “organized” killer....enraged over the influx of Islam into western societies. There are many upset about this and with good reason.....but they do not plan and coordinate ruthless massacres. The means to the ends is Islam does not recognize borders, it's agenda is the Islamification of all western countries via immigration Jihad and Political Jihad. This guy recognized that world politicians were not opposing this ideology rather facilitating it. He is not alone in recognizing this....but mass killings is not the way to oppose this.

CAIR is the one promoting this is Trumps fault. Their news conference spokespeople made that very clear. CAIR opposes everything about America and their intentions are fully in the courts of the muslim Brotherhood agenda.

So, if he was not a Trump supporter, then, all is OK.

This is a “cutout” created attack by a loon. Main attack done by a so called white supremacist who traveled to ... wait for it.. Pakistan (where he was said to be “radicalized” but NOT to WHAT!). Pakistan-— again.

A “false flag” that CAIR is quick to grab onto— under direction of CAIR’s sponsor— Hamas.

This was a team of attackers, btw— not all of whom had a prepared “manifesto” that is... to say the least— confused and oddly pagan (see Black Sun logo from the SS- on his back pack). The German national socialists....loved the islamofascists... for their joint hatred of... Jews.

Lot more to this “story”. But jumping on Trump— beyond belief in callous murder. So— were the mosques Shia?

It is pretty much acknowledged by law enforcement and intelligence organiaztions that one of the meanings of the word “mosque” is “armory”.

He did seem to be a rather strange guy. Well obviously, considering what he has done as well.
