I like Paul but he is being disingenuous here. Libertarians are opposed to the wall on principle. Which is why I can’t fully embrace the LP platform...weak on border security.

Oh, bull. Rand has voted to block National defense and to encourage more illegal alien invasion and to weaken the President. More Americans will now be assaulted and killed and the failing social support network in the US will be pushed further toward collapse. The bill should also include a $250,000 fine and a year in prison for every instance of someone hiring an illegal alien to take a job that rightfully belongs to someone in the US legally.
Until the employers start paying real penalties for hiring illegals then the illegals will continue to invade our country.
To be fair, Rand Paul is a libertarian, not a Libertarian. So while the LP platform might oppose a border wall, that doesn't automatically mean that Rand Paul, a member of the Republican Party, does as well.
