Yes, I, too, at first thought it was more censorship of what I was allowed to receive and send. I’m now thinking that if this lasts a few weeks and helps get us off the darned thing, it could be a blessing for all of us.

It’s indicative of something that I wouldn’t have noticed that FaceBook was missing, probably for months, if I hadn’t read about it here...

For a moment there I felt a little bit less like Winston Smith. Then, thanks to our Government, I remembered the TSA and the fingerprinting and the "safety stops," and this, and so many more things that keep us safe and secure and connected as one... And I breathed a sigh of relief and took a selfie of my selfie feedback pick in front of the tele-screen.

It would be great if the CIA was doing this.

Nah.....Twitter is the real cesspool. If that went down then it would be heaven on earth kind of a day. Instagram just makes you depressed when you see the seemly perfect girl half naked in a bikini in a beautiful home with wonderful dogs and smiling about how like is perfect with delicious meals

“We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps,” Facebook said in a statement.”
I’m surprised that they didn’t give a more style response, such as:
“We’re aware that Facebook user experience might be slightly less than ideal for a very small number of people in our Facebook family, but we will quickly resolve the issue with an optimum, inclusive, solution.”
