Yep. All prosecutors play that game...that is why so many plead guilty. It’s cheaper than trying to fight it...and if you fight and lose you usually get a harsher sentence.
I see what you mean. As far as I know all of the
documents in question could have been generated during
the Obama Administration and destroyed by CAREER
employees in both administrations as needed to cover
dubious activities. The article leaves the impression
that that Trump EPA is just as underhanded as the
Obama era EPA. We see similar crap in the DOJ where
Trump puts in place his own AG but career employees
are still around causing mischief.

Here’s one thing I’d guess they’d be hiding:
Govt commie and eco nazi hires buddy for a million bucks to “perform research” on a chemical that he wants to ban (because man made so must be bad).
Buddy fills out word doc template in about an hour and sends it in.
Chemical banned and taxpayer raped easy-peasy lemon-squeezy.
Repeat for every known chemical.

I think it was a money laundering scheme. We know the Obama EPA was filing lawsuits, then the taking settlement money and giving it to left-wing cause groups.
I wonder how much of that money ended up in Barry Soetero’s, and the Mooch’s, bank accounts?
This would give Trump a reason and means to clear out the EPA of liberal holdovers.
