How does this sound? Mueller, having nothing that he can use to nail Trump for anything that would have a chance of holding up, indicts a Trump family member and pulls off a showy arrest.

The purpose here is simple, he wants to goad Trump into firing him in order to generate amazing outrage and headlines that will totally bury the news that the report is a dud.

It won’t matter a whit if the indictment is thrown out later, all the MSM will want to talk about is the Mueller firing and Trump’s attempt to obstruct justice.

The more I think about this, the less I think mueller would be dumb enough to indict a Trump. Trumps have unlimited resources and would fight back hard and get disclosure of sources that initiated the investigations. The people mueller indicted had/have limited resources. Mueller my be stupid, but he is not that dumb. JMHO.

Remember, an indictment means a grand jury has decided there is probable cause the person has committed a crime. “Ham sandwich” argument aside, it’s not something the prosecutor does on his own.

That’s what I’m thinking he is going to do.
