“Assad or we burn the country.”
The stark words warned those who would defy President Bashar al-Assad. And when protests morphed into war, Mr. Assad, backed by hard-core members of his Alawite religious sect, made good on the threat, presiding over much of Syria’s destruction to maintain his grip on power.
“In every meeting we had, the Alawite officers would say it—‘Assad or we burn the country,’” recalled Abduljabar al-Akidi, then a colonel in the Syrian army. “I knew that Assad would not leave until he had demolished the entire country and blood would run in the streets.”

We now have 200 in the north for some stupid reason about the communists Kurds who have no right to take Syrian land and we have 200 down south ,east of the Euphrates siting ducks for one of the many Isis Chemical attacks in Syria. GET OUT!! This is all NEO CON BS!!
A lot of people died because obama and hillary were funneling weapons to groups wanting to overthrow Assad.
Included in the groups we supported to overthrow Assad was Al-Qaeda.
Genocide happened under obama/hillary/Samatha Power and the UN while the media looked the other way. Hundreds of thousands were either killed or forced to leave their homeland.
Assad had always protected Christians and other groups. I put much of this bloodshed on obama/hillary/Samantha Power, and the UN.
That’s a slogan that could catch on!
And it’s the truth.
So what are they waiting for, the sane world would like to watch the whole damned place go up! Just one more Muslim “breeding ground” put out of business.
I think we should give everyone of them a nuke or two.—with 15 minute timers that start at the time we drop them off.
If the attempt to remove Trump by coup was successful, many of us would feel the same I’m sure.
The defenders of Christianity (present in Syria for 2000 years) won & the helpers of headchopping Wahhabi Jihadists lost. Of course the NeoCon WSJ is unhappy. All Arab Christians are supposed to die in their book.
President Bolton overruled Trump’s decision & Trump accepts that now.

That’s the same tactic muslims use all over the world.
“Do what we want or face the consequences.”
Most of the time there is a direct or implied threat of violence.
Remember the ban on Muhammad cartoons because muslims might riot?
And the bans all over Europe against making comments critical of muslim criminality and atrocities?
Now we have American congressmen and women refusing to be openly critical of a Jew hating muslim from Somalia.
What are they afraid of?
I sure thought we had a promise— Twice. I love Trump but this stuff is pretty basic. We have no right to be there. If China’s military was occupying Oxnard California without our permission, we would not stand for it ( I hope) .
The Syrian rebels operated out of eastern Syria and western Iraq. Saddam Hussein never would have allowed that, not for a second.
So yeah, the Syrian civil war was yet another unintended consequence of George W. Bush’s invasion of Iraq. That invasion never would had happened if Gore had been elected president in 2000. I voted for Bush. And I had better shut up now.
Syria was all part of a larger Deep State plan. It was successful in Libya. Libya might not look like a success story but it is. The Deep State (Clinton, McCain, the WSJ, etc.) did everything they could to destroy Syria, including bogus gas attacks. The public believed all these reports. Many people are now coming to realize the media is “Fake News.”
Well, I could not agree more!! This is all hidden agenda. It is astonishing to me that Trump Caved on withdrawal from Syria, not once but twice. He is “ negotiating’ with the Taliban in Afghanistan. That is patently absurd. That is 100% Bolton. He is stalling the president from getting us out of there with that futile crap. Trump is badly advised. He’s got Ivanka that doesn’t have a clue and Jerad Kurcshner pulling at his coat all day with no idea of what they are talking about. He runs off great minds and strategic thinkers like Gorka and the brilliant Steve Bannon and we have crap for brains Bolton who is so bad that Trump gets to Hanoi to sign a deal and it is all screwed up by the State department negotiations who were trying to give away the farm!! I love Trump. He is all we have but Ill be damned if we have to sit here muted!! And I wont.
You'll have to excuse me, I read the first word as Hillary, and thought how accurate this was.
