Please tell us why it is strongly recommended to get the Hep B vaccine at under one day of age? Hep B can only be contracted by infected needles and sex with someone infected with Hep B. There is no other way.

That is not the point, I am not sure why you posted it.
Your post has nothing do do with the point I made to a post by someone else that the parents should have sued because the polio vaccine caused paralysis.
If you have any thoughts on that aspect of vaccinations, I wouldn’t mind hearing them.
There is absolutely no reason to put this in a one-day old.
They are not in any risk profile and infect blood splattering on you would require a break in the skin to hurt you.
Double the number of people get HIV a year with the same behaviors, yet babies aren’t contracting it everywhere or in any concentration needing 100% of one-day olds getting the shot.
In todays scientific world you tell the scientists the results you want hand them a few million dollars and presto you get the results you want.

It’s not even good propaganda. 24 hours after birth that kid would not have his eyes open.
As an RN, being instructed on the importance of us receiving the Hep B vaccine, we were told that Hep B can remain alive on a dry surface for an extended period of time, and cou!d be transmitted by touching the surface with an open wound on our hand, or if medical instruments became contaminated and came into contact with open skin or mucus membranes, for instance. Also, blood splashes in the eyes, etc. Frankly, I have never trusted the CDC to be totally honest about exposure, especially when it comes to HIV and HEP B. In the beginning of the HIV crisis, they seemed more interested in preventing infected homosexuals from being ostracized, than they were about avoiding transmission. Want to stump a proponent of Hep B vaccines for infants? Just ask them for data showing a decrease in the number of infant Hep B today, as compared to 10 years ago. For their argument to be valid, a decrease would have to be noted.

Thimerosol has been removed from nearly all vaccines, including all those given as part of standard vaccine protocols to children. ADD rates continued to rise.
Formaldehyde is removed from vaccines. A tiny trace may remain, but this is infinitessimal, compared to amounts found in natural substances.
I abhor the use of fetal cells in the manufacturing process of vaccines, but the cells are not part of the vaccines. In fact, they’re comparatively enormous, and easy to 100% eliminate.
Aluminum is used as an adjuvent in certain vaccines. Adjuvents make it so children need a much lower dosage of a vaccine for it to work properly. That’s a good thing, right? Forget the fact that the amounts of aluminum in vaccines is insignificant to the amount that babies will naturally ingest; it’s less than the amount they will BREATE. Before ADD and autism were a thing, by the way, deodorants were made out of aluminum hydroxide, the most common form of aluminum in vaccines. SO WAS BABY POWDER.

As an adult who touches a ton of Hep B patients a day, it makes sense to insure yourself against an accident. Of course, even hospitals need to be kept clean so the dangers you describe are minimal.
In reality, something under 20,000 get Hep B a year. It’s not a threat to a one day old any more than it is to a ten year old. Also, you probably see one Hep B person a week, if that. The US has 220 million people and between 1 and 20,000 people get it a year.
Why give them unnecessary vaccines so early?

As do I - agree, that is. I have a very good friend, Mike, who’s an MD and has a PhD in biomedical research. Mike and his wife have three kids, the youngest of which is now 18, all very intelligent and all high on the Asperger scale.
