Yes, but in Muslim countries, Jews and Christians were still considered second-class citizens, as opposed to the third class status of Hindus, Buddhists, or any other religion that did not recognize the God of Abraham. Atheists would be at the bottom, I would assume.

Typical Congressional showboating. Both parties do it. The Democratic house caucus is in complete control. Could revoke her committee memberships with no discussion at all. They could attempt censure, which would require discussion. Since pro Israel Republicans are also being accused of disloyalty, I see no reason Republicans shouldn't introduce a censure measure. Give dems a chance to vote their conscience. Or not
