This isn’t about impeachment. This is about being able to say Trump is under investigation so that the demonrats can laud all the fake and horrendous charges at Trump no matter if he did them or not.

Gentlemen Nadler is not going away. Unless we push him away. From this day forward everything has changed. I know it’s hard to grasp but we can’t sit idly by and let these SOBs carve up the president of the United States he has done nothing wrong.

If they really do go down the impeachment road, that is a bridge too far. The left wants a shooting civil war.

We are up against Jerry Nadler a man who had 100 pounds sucked out of his waist in 2002. The man dies his hair chestnut color Lady Clairol. And a man who is 71 years old and his health sucks. If Free Republic can’t make this fat sob life miserable what good is it?

I don’t think they want a shooting war because we have all the guns.

The problem is that the left does not listen to reason, they are intolerant, they don’t accept the constitutional process and they want ALL the power.

I really don’t know what we can do to “convince” them. The only thing that they respect is brute force. The left will not be satisfied until their opposition has not only been beaten, but that their opposition does not exist.

This isn’t about impeachment.

IMO, impeachment is the primary target. If it turns out to be a bridge too far - but who really knows how the Senate will vote - then agree the Dems feel the more mud they are able to throw at Trump the better the odds of them winning back the office in 2020.

And sadly, Dems seem to have no compunction about what they do to the country, even putting the Nork negotiations at risk, in the process denigrating the President and the Right, to gain power.

I'm not sure the results of the next election will be accepted by either side, regardless of who wins. I look for TPTB to get their wars. One name that will be among those responsible, if conflict comes: S O R O S.

Given the state of the economy, etc....this is a career-ender vote.

A "career ending vote" is not necessarily a deterrent for the Democrats.

The Democrats have already shown with the "Obamacare" votes that they can sacrifice their own to advance their control over the country.

And those Democrats that may lose elections have an assured new career as lobbyists to the new Congress. They take care of their own.

It will take other means to prevent Democrats in the House from impeaching President Trump.

I agree. They have had the bit between their teeth for two plus years and zero push back. We come and bitch. This doesn’t advance the ball. This is the beginning of the Civil War. It’s taken me two years to wake up.

The Democrats should just announce their new rule. If you aren’t a democrat and manage to get elected POTUS or oppose them, you have committed a crime.

Make no mistake, what we are witnessing here is something Stalin would recognize.

“We are impeaching Trump.”

“Based on what?”

“Never mind, we will find that later.”

They are criminalizing the President exercising his Constitutional duties.

They have turned the FBI and Intel agencies into a secret police. Refuse to talk to the FBI, you are in trouble. Talk to them and they like someone else’s version better, you are in trouble.

There are so many laws on the books that they can find something you have violated and threaten to put your loved one’s in jail until you tell them what they want to hear.

Non-elected officials outright ignoring elected one’s, answerable to nobody. Conspiring to fix things.

One class of citizen de facto illegal and subject to anweaponized justice system. Meanwhile, the other side is immune. Two tiers of unequal justice.

A politicized judiciary that acts as a fail safe to overturn the elected officials based on made up legal grounds.

We can’t live this way, at least not and call ourselves free.

the threat of a Civil War might get the politicians attention that this is a real possibility...

That is not a credible threat to them. They have chosen to believe they can win a Civil War. They will not be persuaded otherwise.

Plan accordingly.

Agree, the Democrats have crossed the Rubicon with their push back of the 2016 elections.

The GOP is already playing with fire in the senate on the National Emergency declaration. They truly are the stupid party.

If Trump wins re-election in 2020 I can see the senate GOP caving and voting to impeach. The establishment, globalist and deep state despise Trump and his voters. Trouble is when you take out a duly elected president because you don’t like his politics you open Pandora’s box. What if Trump’s voters don’t like the next communist the dark forces of the world install and want them removed?

“It’s very clear — 1,100 times he referred to the Mueller investigation as a witch hunt, he tried to — he fired — he tried to protect Flynn from being investigated by the FBI. He fired Comey in order to stop the Russian thing, as he told NBC News. He — he’s dangled part — he’s threat — he’s intimidated witnesses. In public.”

Clearly, some loose particles of fat have long since clogged this guy’s brain beyond fixing.

Calling an investigation a “witch hunt” is NOT obstruction of justice.

The President of the United States may fire any Executive Department official, at any time, for any reason, or for no reason at all. It is part of his powers as the “Chief” Executive, and it is thus, by definition, NOT obstruction of justice.

If Jabba Nadler wants to understand the concept of “obstruction of justice” a bit better, maybe he should examine Hillary Clinton’s wiping (not with a cloth) of hard drives and her ordering that Blackberry devices with critical information be destroyed with hammers. THOSE THINGS ARE OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE, you bloviating whale!

While I agree with most of what you say, you have to remember the metoo movement was about throwing accusations without evidence. The same mentality is at play here. The accusation doesn’t have to be true, just that it has to be made. In this new era, it’s guilty before proven innocent. The old fugly dude and his ilk (son) are trying very hard to get the presidency since Gore. They went after SoS after that.

And if Mueller doesn’t agree with those findings?
