A guy thought he was dead, but in reality he was very much alive. His hallucination became a real problem for his family so they finally took him to see a psychiatrist. After spending many laborious sessions trying to convince the guy he was still alive, the psychiatrist tried one last approach.
He opened his medical book and proceeded to show the man that dead men don't bleed. After a mind-numbing study, the man seemed convinced that dead men don't bleed. The psychiatrist asked: Do you now agree that dead men don't bleed? Yes I do the man replied. Very well, then, the psychiatrist said.
He took out a pin and pricked the mans finger. Out came a drop of blood. The doctor asked. What does that tell you?
Oh my goodness! The patient exclaimed as he stared doubtfully at his finger.
Dead men do bleed!!
And that's the level of delusional we're dealing with. Their belief systems are stronger than any religion you've encountered (their belief system is technically a religion, but not commonly called such).
I agree, and I don’t see how we get beyond this point as a nation. In some ways, the hard left is not much different than those who put on a suicide vest and walk into a crowd. It is very difficult to reason with people who reach that level of fanaticism - particularly when there is an infrastructure in society that constantly affirms their beliefs (e.g. the media and academics).
They are becoming increasingly ‘convinced’. Increasingly militant. Increasingly intolerant. And, increasingly dangerous.
Yesterday was the first time in a while I have listened to Rush. This was the first time I actually felt like even Limbaugh was beyond concerned with the liberal democrats.
Many of his listeners have been concerned for ...years. But yesterday with his near admission that the left is going to go from soft coup to all out violence...did anyone really catch his tone of concern?
I really don’t think we’re going to even make it to the 2020 election cycle. This summer is going to get very warm and things will get ‘hot’ before the New Year.
