How could she possibly confirm that is the ONLY reason? Not sure I’m buying the credibility of this story and if she truly thinks this about Cohen after witnessing his scorn while testifying, then she is a fool.

This is Mueller’s standard operating procedure for years. He interprets the law however he wants, for the political advantage of someone else in power.
Wake me up when a crime committed by a government official is actually prosecuted.
Anyone who thinks the DOJ plays by the rules anymore, hasn’t been paying attention. It’s a democrat infested political driven swamp backed up by judges planted by the democrats. Democrats are untouchable, unless they go against the party. Republicans are fair game. Democrats know that as long as they tow the party line, they’re safe. Republicans know if they go too far, some phony charges drop on their lap. Those are the rules, now go out there and have fun, kids.

It’s a birdbrained story. Not because it may have been made by Mueller’s henchmen, but because of its ridiculousness.
I have always wondered why a person who is coerced into pleading guilty because of threats to their family never answers “yes” to the judge, even if it is true.
Can you imagine what would happen to the prosecutor who used such threats? Disbarment or termination would be the likely result in most cases.
If the defendant didn’t hear it personally from the prosecutor, they certainly would have heard it from their attorney. This is just one reason a defendant should record all conversations with the prosecutor and even their own attorney. You drag out those recordings and you are home free.
Your wife goes to jail on a bogus charge for 30 years

You turn on the president
1. The president can pardon and you know it.
2. No sentence like that would go without appeal.
3. Therefore, you either are lying or you panicked.
Would that be extortion?
