New Jersey Democratic Sen. Cory Booker introduced legislation to end the federal prohibition of marijuana on Thursday, joined by a series of other announced and potential Democratic 2020 presidential hopefuls including Elizabeth Warren, Kirsten Gillibrand, Bernie Sanders, and Kamala Harris...Booker added: But its not enough to simply decriminalize marijuana. We must also repair the damage caused by reinvesting in those communities that have been most harmed by the War on Drugs. And we must expunge the records of those who have served their time.

Let me see, what votes can we buy today - cannibis addicts, felons, illegals, kids under the age of 18, whose next??
Marijuana turns minds to the left.
Should be easy enough for the GOP to pre-empt them by introducing a straight forward bill allowing the states to opt out of federal laws. Forget about their reparations.
Why a federal law?
Reminds me of running for “office” in the 6th grade. I promised candy served at lunch, no school on Friday’s and no detention ever. Of course, I won the election and spent the following days reneging on my promises.
Reparations, stoners, free schit communism.
Not one offering that is Americas interests
“...Why a federal law?...”
As much power and control as they can grab. These crazies are communists/totalitarians and they suck up the votes at the same time. Government power madness.
For your interest.
Make America Gnarly Dude!
Canada legalized marijuana but did anyone notice or even care,LOL
“Why a federal law?”

Trump gave blacks jobs and the democrat street peddlers are trying to lure them back with reefer. There is zero altruistic content to Booker’s intentions.
Cory’s speech originally began: “To be blunt.....” and they had him delete that. “It is high time this joint effort of Congress...” Then a rewrite.
“Oh, just pass the bill. Good night.”
Funny that campy movie Reefer Madness and campaigns like that claimed that someday we would have people not motivated to get a job (now a symptom of “daily marijuana smoker” —an official category),people doped up and driving, increases in rape, sudden impulse violence, breakdown of society, people withdrawing from others, and big increases in dangerous drug use.
Exactly like today and getting worse.
Far out, man.
Sex and drugs. That’s all these clowns think about.
Should be a slam-dunk for any state’s rights conservative.
Nothing in the Constitution gives the feds any say whatsoever.
In spite of legalizing weed all over the country, it remains a gateway drug (along with beer and tobacco)
The frontal lobe of the brain is not fully grown until age 25, but pot impairs this growth.
I quit smoking weed years before I quit drinking 25 years ago.
Sobriety is my most valuable possession.
If God had wanted our minds altered, he would have just done so.
