CNN)In a sea of users live-tweeting the Oscars last night, one account stood out: the CIA. Apparently, the agency is into movies -- especially "Black Panther." Throughout the night, the CIA Twitter feed explored the feasibility of the technology seen in the Marvel superhero flick. The agency also tested its followers' knowledge of metals, asking if they thought the fictional metal vibranium is real...

Remember when we watched and we knew all the movies, actors and actresses on the oscars all the songs, artists and bands on the music awards shows? The lefty agenda is a cancer for real. It ruins and destroys everything

That just made it easier for the CIA to influence us, when there were fewer entertainment outlets.

Got that right. I never watch these awards show/ Trump Sucks shows, but the list of winners is full of movies and people I have never heard of.

I very rarely go to the movie anymore because I will not support that trash.

I feel exactly the same way. The current batch of “stars” and movies could be cast in a remake of “Them”.

Technology can not exist in absence of a means to pay for it. The reason we have television, cell phones and MRI’s is there is a HUGE population with money to pay for those things. An isolated country, like the one in the movie, would have a hard time even feeding itself, let alone creating and maintaining any exotic technology. Even if magical materials were just lying around, the economy necessary to turn them into widely used technology would not exist.

Several times I have read from eco-liberals “wouldn’t it be marvelous if half the world’s population died off?” They still see themselves living the same lifestyle, with exotic coffee, chocolate, cheap cell phones and movie entertainment. (Implicit in this fantasy is they get to choose which half.) But what they don’t understand is, their lifestyles are supported by the world’s current state. Change that state and the support for their relatively high lifestyle simply vanishes. Without a worldwide market for, say, ever smaller and more capable cell phones, nobody would spend the time and money to develop them. Perhaps the current technology would continue for awhile, but with half of, say, China’s population dead, who would repair the machinery or keep the inventory of parts to build it stocked? How big is the market with half of (presumably) America’s “poor” who provide a huge swath of that market...dead?

Great, now the CIA is joining NASA in being more focused on p.r. than on doing it’s job

Last half dozen times I scanned redbox for a movie I had to pass. Just didn’t see anything a Christian should be watching. Last time I decided to rent something and it was a mistake.

Go see “Run the Race”. It is a great movie. Produced by Tim Tebow and his brother, it is well written and well acted.
An excellent movie, and of a quality that you would associate with the Tebow brothers.

CIA has always had a foothold in Hollywood. They even produce some movies.
