Insurance policy had nothing to do with “burning sources."

That's right; it's just disinformation meant to baffle potential jurors.

There is another possibility, Trump could have known they would try to impeach him as early as December 2016

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Efforts_to_impeach_Donald_Trump

In December 2016, Democratic Senators Elizabeth Warren, Dick Durbin, Chris Coons, Ben Cardin and Jeff Merkley introduced a bill that would require the President of the United States to divest any assets that could raise a conflict of interest, including a statement that the failure to divest such assets would constitute high crimes and misdemeanors “under the impeachment clause of the U.S. Constitution.” Vanity Fair characterized this as a preemptive effort to lay the groundwork for a future impeachment argument.Concerns had previously been expressed that Trump’s extensive business and real estate dealings, especially with respect to government agencies in other countries, may violate the Foreign Emoluments Clause of the Constitution, sparking debate as to whether that is the case.

Session didn’t recuse until 3 months later March 2 2017

So while possible session is a doofus he also could have decided to recuse so that he could be Trump’s attorney at any potential impeachment hearing.

This is an obvious cover story. Strzok and Page were told exactly what to say.

Another educated guess that quite possibly is the right one.

That was about REMOVING Trump from office if he got elected...

The key question is: "how far were they planning to go with that 'insurance policy'"?

And who else was involved in "Plan C"?

I believe that we have seen only the tip of an iceberg here.

uh, yeah ... let’s make everyone believe there was and probably still is since they didn’t burn them, a super secret mole in the Trump administration who knows all the REAL dirt that could be unleashed at any moment ...

You are brilliant...what you say is so correct you should get an award.

They are bending into pretzels trying to find a way to massage all of the information into points for them because they were so “honest and true and patriotic and compassionate and loving of all things American”.....

They make me want to puke.

The surprise is ...that it took so long for them to get into gear.

Unfortunately, millions will believe any criticism of Trump, no matter how preposterous. They don’t even think it’s suspicious that GWB is against him.

“It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you are 40.” I have not yet understood the meaning of that statement. Seems to me that the hypothetical you wasted money on an insurance policy and you get nothing out of it. And you’re dead. If someone could give me some better analogy for his statement, I would appreciate it.

Life insurance is purchased for the family of the insured. It is not about the insured failing to collect. It is about the family of the insured being provided for in the event the breadwinner and provider no longer can. So it is for others benefit should the provider fail to be able to do so.

With regard to the "insurance policy" discussed by McCabe, Strzok, and Page -- the insurance was supposed to pay off in the event Hilary Clinton failed to be electeded president. The payment was supposed to be in the form of removing Trump from office, or completely neutralizing his effectiveness. IMHO, I believe they are referring to removing him via impeachment, framing him with Russian collusion. It didn't work.

They are not even good liars. They are rank amateurs when it comes to lying. Bill Clinton was the master at it, the Son of Lies. I would call him the Father of lies, but I believe that is reserved for satan. Well, perhaps they are one and the same.

Yes, but I just don't see McCabe, Strzok, and Page as 'altruistic' types who have a bit of concern about anyone but themselves.

I believe they are referring to removing him via impeachment, framing him with Russian collusion. It didn't work.

You, and everyone else seems to think that is what he meant. If true, it was a a crappy 'insurance' plan.
