Unfortunately, that actually crossed my mind as I rewatched Ken Burns The Civil War. There will come a time when even historical images of the men who led and fought for the Confederacy will be purged. Theyve gotten the statues, that is next.
Sadly, this is the world we live in now.
In other words, stark raving mad.

"There will come a time when even historical images of the men who led and fought for the Confederacy will be purged."
And then - and this is where this is going - it will be the men who led and fought for the Union. The founding fathers. Trust me.
This is why I don't buy any of this crap, because it will never end. There is no appeasement possible, accede to one demand and there will be a dozen more. There's also nothing wrong with chivalry, loyalty, honor, and all those things. Or is there?? Maybe Gov. Lee can explain, since he's aparently had a change of heart.

Sadly, this is the world we live in now. If you think it's sad now, just wait until history repeats itself. Those who forget history are destined to repeat it and the politically correct loons will rue the day when it happens. They are NOT doing blacks in this country any favors by wiping confederate memories from history.
