Quite right.
The OSHP is the most visible in the country by far. Even on Christmas eve.
From my years of driving long haul I can tell you the only day I didn’t mind driving in Slowhio was the day of the annual Ohio/Michigan football game.
Many a game day I would roll across Ohio at high speed and NEVER see the OSHP at all.
most farm machinery run on diesel. The Ag Diesel is exempt from taxes thus a dye is added.
We haul bulk Ag with road use diesel and have to compete with Farmers who run trucks on tax free Ag diesel. Needless to say Farmers are not subject to 2290 Federal Highway Use Taxes nor IFTA, etc.
Dewine is looking at Indiana’s 46 cent tax as a model.
DeWine has always been an @$$hol^. These political hacks always want to hike taxes instead of across the bo1rd cutbacks

When Republicans are raising taxes, what is the rationale for voting for them?
They are never going to beat Democrats in the Santa Claus giveaway game. The reason has always been to keep your taxes in check. Fritter that away and no one has a reason to cast his vote for you.
A gas tax increase absolutely scuttled Tom Corbett here in PA. Now we are stuck with a loony Leftist and his dangerously radical Lt. Gov.
Tennessee last GOP governor forced through a Progressive gas tax hike, we already had one of the highest as we have NO STATE INCOME TAX. It was higher than the Fed gas tax, now it’s higher. He had a ALL GOP Congress who agreed with him except a few. Course the Dems loved it.
Okay $50 it is then. And then we can talk about annual yearly growth of that $50 per gallon.
Is there a correlation you’re trying to make with regard to this topic?
How do electric car owners contribute to the road upkeep?
Is this equal taxation?
The govt.....which is always the case. They tax then spend money wherever they want
Not a dime will go for roads and bridges.
Just big fat pensions for gov’t workers.
