What Could Await El Chapo In Supermax? 23 Hours A Day In A Tiny Cement Cell, For One
Colorado Public Radio ^ | 01/20/19 | Angela Dukakis

How does a prison prepare for the arrival of known escape artist and Mexican drug kingpin, Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera?

For the ADX "Supermax" prison in Florence, Colo., former warden Robert Hood said administrators will likely stick to the a formula that's prevented any jailbreaks for 25 years.

For 23 hours out of the day, El Chapo would be in a soundproof, 7-by-12-foot cell. The bed, desk and stool are all made of poured cement. While most inmates are given a black-and white-television, it's behind a special kind of glass and can be restricted to show old, never live, programs. Their only actual view of the outside world is a 4-inch window.

When El Chapo is sentenced in June, he's expected to receive life without parole. Former Supermax warden Hood believes there's no other prison better prepared for the drug lord than that in Colorado.

"When you look at El Chapo’s escape history, his violence, his access to funds and people, within the system it’s not even questioned," Hood said. "He will not go to a camp, he will not go to low-security or even a penitentiary. He will come to Colorado at the nation’s most high-security prison."

I’m not happy that the taxpayers of this nation will have to provide room and board to this criminal for the rest of his life. I take some consolation in the fact that the rest of his life in this supermax facility will be pretty miserable.

I’m surprised that they aren’t releasing him on sanctuary policies.

Trump has a lot of leverage with this guy. Wonder how many Democrat politicians who made his drug distribution networks possible he is willing to rat out to get better prison conditions. Trump spent thirty years in the NYC construction business. You would think he would have picked up a few Sicilian tactics on how to deal with your enemies.

Pretty sweet for getting kids hooked on drugs and the border bloodshed he ruled over. He must be a member of Travelocity.

Yes, curious you should mention that. I would bet a substantial number of Demonrats (and probably a few Republicans) who are the most militantly open borders are on the cartels payroll. They all ought to be joining El Choppo in prison.

Sounds just like Netflix and Amazon Prime. Most of their movies are at least 5 years old, most are 10 years old and more! Think this might be a selling point? "We show the same movies, of the same age, as the prisoners in Super Max prison get!"

Like in Dumas’ , “Man in the Iron Mask”, pass him bread and water daily, and when the food is no longer taken, cement up all cell openings. In 1000
Years open it up and find probably mummified remains.

That’s not a nice place. I lived close to Supermax on 9-11. It’s not close to the highway and it’s not possible to see much but there was a lot of military armor to be seen as we drove by.

That's going to be one very miserable existence and rightly so.I hope he lives a long time.

Do you think he’ll try to escape? I’m sure he will, somehow. Although it’s hard to see how he could succeed, he’s got almost unlimited resources, and what’s the downside for him?

And then, there's this:

Cops raiding a drugs den full of heroin, fentanyl, crack cocaine and marijuana have also found a baby alligator 'protecting' the drugs.

The three-foot-long gator was discovered 'guarding' over bags of illegal drugs in the 'stash-house' in South Coatesville, Pennsylvania...

Raiding cops named the gator 'El Chompo' in honor of last week's conviction of Mexican drug lord Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman.

'Quite frankly, as we can tell from these drug dealers, the alligator may have been the brains of the operation,' Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan told NBC affiliate WGAL..."

Very, very tough place to spend the rest of your life. He’s 61 now, so he will grow old there quickly. A tiny, dark cell with no noise, hardly enough room to turn around in. Window four inches wide, the width of your hand.

What is funny is that he couldn’t even escape from a typical county jail anywhere in the US. Obviously he deserves the Super max, but escaping from any correctionial facility in the US is not the same as “escaping” some Mexican prison where everyone is paid off.

I’m thinking the list has pretty much
been compiled. Actions by a few Dems
highlight your hypothesis.
